Microsoft has slowly updated certain apps with support for Dark Mode like Office for Mac getting the dark treatment last December and Outlook for iOS getting the update back in August ahead of the iOS 13 release. That made the process a bit more labor-intensive as it “worked to ensure design teams were ‘aligning to the single palette.'” Even though it’s coming about a month later, it’s great to now see system-wide Dark Mode support arrive for Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and OneNote for iPhone and iPad.Īs we previously reported, Microsoft highlighted that it has built the system-wide Dark Mode support for its iOS 13 and iPadOS 13 Office suite from the ground up. The plan was to have Office Dark Mode support in time for the launch of iOS 13. Is there a way to do this? If not, can this feature be included in an update? I'm most frustrated because iPad users using an iOS app have this feature.Back in August, Microsoft teased that it was working on Dark Mode support for its full Office suite for iOS and as it rolled out support for the feature with Outlook. However, I want the ability to save my notes as a PDF exactly as they appear in OneNote. That's probably why the print to PDF feature turns it to a white page. Printing a completely black page is a waste of ink and makes no sense. It also seems like some colors aren't compatible with printing because there are many blank spaces. Instead, the background is light, the lines or grids is the most noticeable feature of the PDF, and I can't read half of my written notes because I'm trying to read white or yellow writing on a white page. The only way to export and save these notes is to print as PDF but it doesn't save in dark mode. Dark mode is easier on the eyes and less distracting when writing notes in a dark classroom. I use dark mode, lines or grids, and many fun colors to take and organize my notes. I'm using the desktop app of OneNote on my Surface Pro.
